This is the Lollipop drawing, my charcoal drawing of a campbell's soup can, furniture to show confidence, and my forced perspective.
Of the mini-lessons the charcoal was the hardest because it was really messy and I wasn't sure how to properly shade so I didn't really like how it came out. The easiest was to draw the lollipop because it was the first thing we did and it was a good start to the unit.
In my final piece I created an original work of art by using three objects that are very different and combining them to make a picture that goes together. I took objects from my room that I thought were significant and put them all together. I tried to choose three objects that didn't really relate so my work of art could be unique.
I used pencil and tried to shade to the best of my ability but I struggled with getting the darkest shade possible. If I could do this again I would work on taking more time to focus on the dark shades. I did like that I was able to put detail and add the name of the books to the covers. I think that added to this being a unique project. I would have also added more of a background but I was afraid of messing with the flow of the picture. If I could do this again I would worry less about how it turned out and just tried new things.
