I discovered some amazing paper Art done by Lisa Rodden. Lisa Rodden is an Australian artist who focuses on the human connection with nature. Her work focuses on how everything in the world is interrelated. She uses color and texture to affect the mood of her art. She does some paintings, but her main specialty is cutting paper into spectacular designs.
Rodden has studied drawing and sculpture in both Europe and Australia so she has learned alot about bringing color into ordinary things. Her website has a slideshow of her creations. I have the link below:

I am really intrigued by this art because it takes only one piece of paper to create a work of art that resembles an animal or a flower. I really like how bits of color can be seen under the paper to give it a subtle tone. My favorite paper design in the two Koi fish because they seem to come of the paper and it gives a great 3D look. I also really like how there is a red tone under the paper. This may seem like an easy thing to do but I know it must take a lot of time and I really enjoy looking at it.
